About Us
God has a plan! He has been working out His plan to bring Glory to His name since the dawn of time. The Church (every Christian around the world) is his decided method of actualizing His plan.
In response to this, we are committed to educate, inspire, challenge, equip, and facilitate God’s people to embrace the glory of God and to fulfill the Biblical mandate of Acts 1:8 of unveiling His glory by the spreading of the gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the “ends of the earth.” We believe in taking a holistic approach to the importance of good works, seeking justice for the oppressed, caring for widows and orphans, and proclaiming the Gospel. In short, we seek the Glory of God through both deed and word.
There are special relationship that The Rock of Roseville has with missionaries that are planting or participating with local Churches around the world, some we have sent out of our local congregation and some God has brought along the way. Our ministry partners focus on a variety of aspects of the Kingdom of God. Please check out our the Missionaries at the right to learn more about our dear friends.
Often people ask me, “How effective can a short-term team really be for the Kingdom?”
Well, often our missionary friends are able to utilize short-term ministry teams to fulfill a larger objective. Sometimes a team is able to open doors that locals are unable to open. Sometimes we bring certain expertise that is needed. Sometimes we are able to provide needed manpower. In those cases, we will send teams to partner along-side their efforts.
