A Light to our City

From day one, it’s been our heart to show the city of Roseville God’s heart through practical acts of kindness & love. The Rock makes it a point to be seen & heard in our community through anything from participation in Downtown Tuesday Night Market to holding an annual City Awards Banquet to honor our city’s heroes. We don’t see any reason why all of Roseville can’t be on fire for Jesus!

Personal Interaction

People need people. With that said, we have done our best to create an environment where we not only co-labor in the Lord, but connect, share, & grow side by side. Our motto from the beginning has been to be a church “of small groups” not “with small groups.” The Rock is the umbrella to a vast array of small groups covering anything from pastoral care, married life all the way to just plain fun. It’s our goal to create close-knit circles of believers that form meaningful friendships that last a lifetime.

Reaching The World

Over the last ten years, The Rock has had the privilege of bringing the Gospel to the world on over 40 mission trips spanning thirteen countries. Not only do we desire to bring the gospel overseas, but right here in America through outreach & humanitarian relief. We are actively touching the world with the message of Christ.

The Harvest is Young

If you’ve been around The Rock for a while, you may notice that children, as well as young adults, are very important to us and, most importantly, to God—just look at our children’s rooms! Youth need to be encouraged that the time is now to stand up for God; to go deeper in their relationship now, not simply when they “grow up.” With programs such as The Rock Internship & our children & teen internships, youth are given an opportunity to to take time out to pursue God.

Innovation

Every good gift is from above & we intend on using them. Technology has the ability to bring God’s truth to people in a new way, a quicker way, & a more efficient way. The Rock was the first church in the world to launch an interactive keypad system in 1999 allowing church-goers to answer questions & participate in a church service. We strive to produce tools that aid spiritual growth in a modern world.
